At Laguna Madre Christian Academy, we use two different learning programs. For our grades K3-4th, we use the Abeka Book curriculum. Abeka provides LMCA with quality curriculum and materials that are written from a Christian perspective. This program allows teachers to provide a strong biblical foundation for students and to help them grow intellectually, morally, and spiritually. In grades 5th through 12th, we use the Ignitia Virtual Academy program. This program is a nationally accredited school with certified instructors, professional academic support, and Bible-based curriculum aligned with national and state standards. Ignitia is an online course that allows our upper-grade students to work at their own pace with the help of their in-person teacher.
